Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You may not believe this baby's story but every single word is true. The mere fact that she is alive is simply a miracle. So here's her story, sad but true.....
At approximately 5 AM on a Sunday morning, a woman working the breakfast shift at Burger King stepped outside for a smoke brake. She started hearing odd sounds and wasn't quite sure what it was. She followed the sounds to the dumpster and realized it was something whimpering inside the dumpster. As she peered in, she saw a plastic Walmart bag moving around. She then ran inside to get some of the boys to help. One of the boys was tall enough to reach in and pluck the bag out. Lo and behold, a tiny little pup, not even 2 pounds, maybe 4-5 weeks old. She was shivering and not breathing very well. The woman had heard about us so immediately called for help. We ran to pick her up thinking that she may be in real bad shape. Well, she had a pretty serious upper respiratory infection and a large puncture wound on the top of her head. We put her on antibiotics, cleaned and tended to the wound and prayed. She pulled through very nicely only to break with the Parvovirus 6 days later. Parvo is a very dangerous often deadly virus. We gave her the necessary medication, followed up with supportive care and prayed some more. Once again, she pulled through like a champ. 2 weeks later she developed Mange! Was this sweet baby ever going to catch a break? We got rid of the Mange only to be followed by a hot spot the size of a soft ball!
Well, we are now happy to say that little Ms Reilly is healthy, happy and ready for her new home. She astonished the vets with her will to live! We estimate her birthday to be April 24, 2015. She is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on all of her shots. She is also crate trained and house broken. Wouldn't you love to give this miracle pup her forever home? ADOPTION FEE $500
