Kendall's Story...
Hi, my name is Kendall. Life is good, I'm in a foster home now. But life would be WONDERFUL if I had a family of my own...hint, hint, wink wink:) I am a happy girl and enjoy attention so very much. Nothing makes me happier than to be petted and please people. I am getting along GREAT with the multitude of dogs in my foster home. We run and play together outside and all hang out as a pack with our humans in the evening and watch TV. I'm housebroken and get to sleep on a nice soft lounge chair overnight in my foster home...no crate required for this girl! I love to ride in the car and make a wonderful travel companion. I recently visited seniors at the nursing home and was lovely with them, if I do say so myself. Won't you make my dreams come true by adopting me?
Kendall's adoption fee is $175; she is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. Some of our pets are in foster care. If you would like to meet Kendall, please contact Helping Strays at (618) 939-7389 to arrange a meeting. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kendall, a Columbia Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
