My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meeka is a sweet 7 month old German Shepherd mix. She was given to her family and they only had her for 6 weeks and decided they worked long hours and shouldn't have a dog. She's an active gal that loved going for runs with her owner. She's already house trained and is working on manners in the home. Meeka likes being outside and would enjoy a fenced in yard to run and play. She lived with 2 adults. Meeka enjoys rides in the car too but sometimes gets sick. It's not known how she is with kids and other pets. Meeka is a little intimidated with her new surroundings and growls when in her cage. Take her out and she's a sweetheart. Take it slow when visiting Meeka.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
