Tess's Story...
Please consider this pair of siblings that are now in need of a new home. They are 7 years old, spayed and up to date with vet records. They use the litter box well and are indoor only cats.

Tess and Tia are represented by Blue Sky Rescue of MN. They come with vet records and an adoption agreement that states they are to remain indoor only cats and never to be declawed.

Cats in pairs are a wonderful choice for the busy person that is gone during the day. They are never alone and do fine while their adult is gone at work. Tess is the black girl and Tia is the buff tabby. Tia is less social and they will do better in a quieter home. Tess is friendly and good with visitors.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tess, a Wayzata Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wayzata, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wayzata.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wayzata already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wayzata breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wayzata paves the way for another one to be saved.
