Leta is a beautiful, petite girl who has endured many changes in her short lifetime. She was purchased from a dog groomer, but the owners returned her after three years. It is likely that Leta suffered some abuse during those years. Because of her past, it takes Leta time to accept new people. However, once you have gained her trust, she will always want to be by your side.
In her foster home, Leta is very comfortable with and loving toward her foster parents as well as the resident dogs. In her previous home, she did just fine with cats, too. Leta feels safest at home, and she is very playful and loves to cuddle. She would do best in a quiet household without children. This sweetheart loves walks and new adventures, but she does not trust new people in new locations.
Leta a real little sweetheart, and we look forward to her flourishing in her Forever Home. If you are having a bad day, she will nudge her way into your arms and make you smile. Leta is learning to love again, and she is waiting patiently for her Forever Family to give her a lifetime of stability and companionship.
