My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

December 2015 update: Honey is a 1 year old Catahoula mix, she is actually one of Speckles' pups who we just brought into our care. The puppies were given away by their owner before our rescue partners could get there and take the babies. Now the people who took Honey no longer want her and gave her up to the rescue.

Honey is a darling dog! When she went to the vet for her spay surgery the techs said she was shy at first but was giving them all kisses by the time she left.

Honey is great with other dogs - she was living with two poodles and has lived with pugs and up to 7 other dogs at a time. She is housetrained, crate-trained and ready to find her family. She weighs about 50 lbs, and has done well with children but they all were school-age and older.

Now that she is with us in foster she is doing fantastic and is ready to meet her new family!

To learn more about Lucky Pup Rescue, please visit our website: www.luckypuprescue.org. If you have interest in any of our dogs, please fill out the application and we'll work with you to find a great match for your family: http://www.luckypuprescue.org/#!adoption-application/c1aw8.

Please note, we do not have a physical facility where our dogs are housed, they are cared for in our network of wonderful foster homes throughout New England. If you find a dog you would like to meet, our expectation is that, once approved, you will travel to meet the dog in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.

Thank you for considering rescue!
