Important Note

Renee's Bairn is best friends with Renee's Emily. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
This is what his foster mom says about them:Here are Emily and Bairn. They were born Sept 27, 2015. They have been together all this time and are love each other but would do fine in a home where they are spoiled and loved. They would be great with a kitty friend. Emily is a soft, sweet, and loving calico. Bairn is coal black and more independent.. Both are unique in their personalities and mesh nicely. They are in a Reneeā€™s foster home and are used to other animals but have not been around children. They are looking for the perfect person to take them and love them for who they are. Please come meet them. You will fall in love. Adoption fee- $80 each .

About Pets & People Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Pets & People is a volunteer based organization that concentrates on rescuing dogs and cats from area municipal shelter"s "death row". All of these pets are tested for certain diseases, vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered, given preventative medication and sheltered until forever homes can be found. We primarily rescue from rural shelters in central Oklahoma but have been know to travel hours to rescue pets.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our shelter is open to the public from noon to 5:30, seven days a week. We are open on major holidays by appointment only. The address of our shelter is 701 Inla Ave, Yukon, Oklahoma.

Our Adoption Process...

Potential adopters will be required to fill out an initial questionnaire and to answer follow up questions. Veterinary references will be checked as well as home checks as necessary. We do not transport our pets to adopters. We like to have our adopters meet our pets and for us to meet them and their families. Our goal it to match our pets with appropriate homes.
