Daphne's Story...
Introducing Daphne and her brothers Freddy and Shaggy. This trio is a perfect example of the perfectly adorable and adoptable dogs you can find in shelters. These three unfortunately found themselves in a nortoriously high kill shelter in Memphis, where 70% of the animals who enter their doors are euthanized. So odds said that two of these three wouldn't make it, we couldn't let that happen.

Miss Daphne's adoption fee is $500 and includes her spay surgery, microchip, up to date vaccines, heartworm preventative, health certificate and transportation from Memphis to your area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daphne, a Brattleboro Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
