Tex's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Tex's Story...
Tex is a male Australian Cattle Dog, aka Blue Heeler about 3-4 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. He’s a typical heeler, loves play and his humans! He’s good with friendly dogs that are not fearful; he’s working more on his social skills. Tex loves to play ball and will retrieve and drop a ball at your feet where he waits for loving! Tex would do best in a home with no small children and owners familiar with Cattle Dogs and time to work with his energy level. Dewormed, vaccinated, neutered, heartworm negative and on prevention, microchipped, Tex is ready for his forever home! Is your family the right match?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tex, a Cross Roads Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler for sale in Cross Roads, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Cross Roads.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cross Roads already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cross Roads breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cross Roads paves the way for another one to be saved.
