Ivy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Ivy's Story...
This is Ivy. Ivy was part of a hoarding raid, she was pulled from a property along with 50 other dogs, all living chained outside with little food and no shelter. Ivy is 10 years old and only weighs 22lbs, she needs to gain a couple more pounds to be a healthy weight. Ivy was full of worms and fleas when she came to rescue, and she is now working on getting 100% healthy. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all of her shots and on heart worm prevention. Since she has never been in a home before, she is working on her crate and house training. She is on medication for incontinence, so she can not go long periods without going out. She is good with most dogs and learning to like people, though she is a bit timid. If you would like to be the angel who gives Ivy her forever home, please apply to adopt at Her adoption fee is $150. She is being fostered in the Nashville, TN area. Thank you for choosing rescue!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ivy, a Jackson Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
