A retired hunter with a nose that can out sniff the border patrol dogs (lol). He enjoys spending his days laying around like a lazy couch potato soaking up the sun. Despite his passion for hunting Buddy has recently given up on being an escape artist which we believe has a lot to do with his age in addition to hip issues that stem from his many years of work and breed. Buddy loves to be the house therapist listening until he falls fast asleep then pretends to be awake when you stare at him. His awesome personality is unlike any other but at times reminds us of the characters from the movie 'Grumpy Old Men'. Although he has not tried to escape in over 6 months we require Buddy boy to have a fenced yard that he cannot dig his way out of. He absolutely loves having an indoor kennel where he can go to escape from everyday issues including anyone in the house. Buddy has become a spoiled rotten pup since deciding to give up after avoiding his rescue for over two years. We know that he deserves the best forever home where he can live out the remainder of his golden years with those that love him the most.
