I have been in many different types of situations, but my ideal forever home is with a man or woman, or both, without kids or elderly. I am not sure of their movements and it makes me nervous. I am a loner and prefer to have the full attention of my person.
I know a few commands, such as sit and stay. I can use some work on the others, but respond well to treats. I enjoy crunchy bones and milkbone type bones. I am learning to play with toys because in the past I have not had any. I won't drive you crazy with the squeaky toys because they do not make sense to me and I get very nervous hearing them. My favorites are the ropes and balls, but I like to keep them and not share, well because they are mine. I am outside kennel trained for when I am left alone, but prefer to be inside with my person. My kennel goes with me.
I am a "no touch", "no talk", "no eye contact" dog at first until I am comfortable. My foster parents have made me comfortable, but I know I cannot stay with them. I am looking for someone who has had a dog before and is willing to work with me on my issues. I will return the favor by being a good dog and great companion.
