Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This precious little maltese mix is approx 2-3 yrs old, and weighs 7.5 lbs. When we rescued her, the left back foot had been "degloved" meaning that her bone was exposed. We are not sure what happened to cause this. A lot of the times the injury is due to the foot getting trapped under or in an object and while trying to free themselves the injury happens. The vet felt that the foot would heal itself which it did and she was left with a nub as a foot,so we had a prosthesis fitted for her that she can wear during the day to take the pressure off of the foot, she can get around really well with or without her new pink prosthesis and loves to run and play like all her buddies. She is a very sweet little girl, can be a little wary of men but warms up pretty quickly. She is pretty fast as well, loves toys and is pretty well house trained and does well on a leash, she would be better in an adult household.
