You’ve probably heard it a 1,000 times…..”Adopting an animal from your local rescue group saves not 1 life, but 2 - the animal you take home and the animal that gets to take its place……” Here is living proof of how true that statement really is. MEET ANGELA: ANGELA was found in an extremely impoverished neighborhood, pregnant a 2nd time, having lost her 1st litter due to her inability to nurse them properly, being malnourished herself. You see, no one in the community wanted Angela around…..or the 20+ other cats just like her that have found themselves homeless, starving, and craving the compassion of the countless people that pass by them daily, each saying “Shooo cat” or “Get out of here cat.” Yet, she had nowhere to go. Until one day, someone driving through the town spotted her, and said, “Come here cat.” And she came, and she ate, and felt loving hands pick her up and tell her it was all going to be okay…….and for Angela, it finally is OK……but there are so many more still waiting out there for that one person to come back for them……for their turn to be picked up off the street, to feel a full belly each day, to sleep peacefully at night, to feel loving hands pet them, and tell them they are finally loved…..but there is only so much room in one rescue group’s foster network……so the others wait – until Angela finds her forever family, and creates a space for one of them with Hope For Animals. Angela is a young 1 – 1 ½ year old spayed black & white female with the most mesmerizing copper eyes. She is Negative for FIV/FeLV, is up to date on vaccines and litter box trained. Angela is VERY affectionate, loves to sit next to you, head butt you, and purrs to show her contentment, all while kneading her front paws…..and she loves to have her belly rubbed. Please consider adopting Angela. And know that when you open your heart and home to her, you have created a life-saving space for another lost soul that is just desperate to be saved. Other cats rescued so far from Angela’s location and still needing homes include: Ivanna, Ivan, Evan, Logan, Flecks and Nellie. If you are interested in adopting or meeting this kitty please call Eileen at 732-549-1270. There are other cats/kittens available for adoption at the Petsmart on Route 9 South in Manalapan, NJ. The adoption room is located in the back of the store, behind the dog food aisles, on the right hand side.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
