SWEET AS CANDY ~ YOU KNOW YOU NEED A 'SNICKERS!'
Snickers and his pal, Reese's were surrendered to us in November 2015, when Snickers was about 8 years old. It seems someone in the family developed allergies. This big cuddly guy shares a foster home with Reese's and a variety of other cats and dogs. He's a friendly guy who loves attention from adults and respectful children. He was already declawed (front paws only) when he joined us, so no worries about your furniture. Kittens are nice, but there's much to be said about opening your heart and home to more 'mature' cats. Snickers has much love and companionship to offer and is ready for his happily-ever-after to begin.
All of the dogs/cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Adoption fees are $245 for dogs ($95 for Seniors 8 years+) and $60 for cats, to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter of all adoptable pets as well as getting them up-to-date on their basic vaccinations, and for starting heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Puppies and kittens will go into adoptive homes as Foster-to-Adopt until old enough to have spay/neuter surgery. No pet will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).
We will require an approved on-line application which is available on our website at ForeverLoveRescue.com. Be prepared for a Meet-and-Greet and a basic home check to be done on or before adoption day, to ensure that the pet can be safe in the new home and that everyone involved is comfortable with each other.
