Important Note

Ziggy is best friends with Zodiak. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Ziggy and her two littermates (Zodiak and Zeke) were born to a stray mama. They joined our rescue when they were approximately 8 weeks old. Their estimate DOB: 7/29/2015. At first, all three were very shy and afraid of people. Ziggy is still shy when she first meet you, but once she realizes that she is safe, she is very outgoing and playful. All three are very outgoing and playful with each other and the other dogs in their foster home. They also look out for each other. Zeke has been adopted.

Their exact breed is unknown. Their mama looks like a long-haired shepherd mix. The three puppies all have short hair, but their colors are distinctly different.

Ziggy would love to be adopted with her brother, Zodiak. They are inseparable!

Consider making Ziggy and Zodiak members of your family!

They have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and ready for a home of their own -- TOGETHER!

About Cherished K-9 All Breed Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Big or small we love them all!

Our mission is to rescue and re-home neglected, abused and abandoned dogs.

We are a small rescue that picks up dogs off the streets and helps them find their homes or helps them find new homes.

We also help find homes for dogs that have been relinquished by their owners. In addition, we pull last-chance dogs from our local animal shelter.

Our goal is to assist the rescue community in our area in decreasing the euthanasia rate at the shelter.

Our dogs live in foster homes while waiting to be adopted. Our fosters love and care for them as if they are their own dogs.

We cannot do what we do without your help! Foster, Adopt or Donate today!

If you are interested in fostering or adopting one of our dogs, please email us at CherishedK-9s@hotmail.com

Our Adoption Process...

After filling our our required Adoption Application, we will schedule a home visit. The home visit is to make sure our dog gets along with any existing pets in the home. We also check for obvious hazards and make sure the yard is secure.

If everything checks out OK, the next step is the Adoption Application, which finalizes the adoption. There is an adoption fee for each dog. (All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped.)

After the adoption is complete, there are follow-up wellness checks to make sure everything is working out for the adopters and the adopted dog.

At any time after the adoption is finalized, if the adopter decides to get rid of the dog, it must be returned to Cherished K-9 All Breed Rescue.
