Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Maya! Maya is house trained and crate trained. She is also trained on the invisible fence, so if someone had that she understands what the flags mean.
She would be best as the only dog as she loves humans. She likes most dogs if she encounters them off leash, but she would thrive as the only dog in the house. She knows how to sit on command and also knows to wait for her food and for us to say "take it" before she dives in. She is smart and learns very quickly.
Maya is an avid ball player, she fetches really well and will do it for a long stretch of time. She loves to go for walks and play, but she also sleeps well. She is working on her jumping habit, but responds when you turn away from her. She is not allowed on furniture, so she chooses to sleep on her bed.
Maya is a very sweet dog who thrives on attention and pleasing humans. She would do well with a good dog owner who gives her exercise and attention. She is used to going to dog daycare, so she needs exercise and stimulation and would be a great walking or hiking partner.
This sweet puppy is as cute as they come. Maya is a fun huggable adorable puppy that gets a second chance at love. She was living in a horrible situation and was still able to survive and be a complete love bug, despite the neglect. She is only 1 year old and has her whole life to show you gratefulness. She has lived with everything from a Chihuahua to a Basset hound and small children so she is good with calmer dogs, people and kids. We did a cat test and no kitties please. Her mother is a Pointer and we are not sure what her other mixes might be but we do know she is 100% precious. Apply today and come meet her!
