My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dakota is a beautiful, sweet and mellow 7 year old brood mom that just came to Arizona from a greyhound farm. She is not small dog or cat tolerant.

I’m a girl who has a positive outlook on life. I believe in being nice to everyone, so I am very gentle in my interactions.

I’m friendly and happy and get along well with the other dogs and the people who come here to help us. I don’t know what this means, but I overheard two of the volunteers talking about me and they said that I am “THE perfect” dog. Since I have light fawn fur, you could probably see my skin blush.

I’m pretty interested in my surroundings and spend a bunch of enjoyable time just sniffing everything. I got to sniff a cat, and I may be cat tolerant. I’ll be retested just to be sure. Then I’ll be ready for the perfect forever home!
