Cranberry's Story...
Cranberry - 2.5 months, DSH black, male
I know, you're thinking to yourself, Squash and Cranberry look an awful lot alike . . . and they do! These two twins came in with their fluffy littermates Mayflower and Acorn. When you look quickly, Acorn and Mayflower are going to catch your eye. But resist the fluffy temptation! Cranberry has so much to offer. Think of it like the kinda nerdy kid in high school: he couldn't get by on sheer beauty, so he had to make up for it in brains and personality. That's Cranberry. All brains and personality. Okay, well, maybe just personality. This sweet little guy loves head rubs, and loves to be held. He's definitely digging a family who wants to cuddle and spoil him a little bit.
He has a black on black spotted coat and fluffy fur. Social and outgoing almost instantly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cranberry, a Covington Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Covington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Covington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Covington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Covington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Covington paves the way for another one to be saved.
