Mary is a pretty white and gray tabby with green eyes that will melt your heart. She and her friend, Marcella (also available for adoption), came to us from a sanctuary down south that was closing its doors. They had no where to go so we stepped up and took both beauties so that they didn't have to go to animal control. Mary is such a sweet and gentle-natured kitty with lots of love to give. She has a shy disposition and will require an acclimation period to a new home, so her family must be patient and willing to give her the time that she needs to feel comfortable. Her timid personality means that she would do best in a home without lots of activity or young children. However, she does not have a mean bone in her body and she absolutely loves to be doted on and snuggled and purrs the moment you pet her. She would thrive in a home with an older person or an individual(s) who is looking for a kitty companion to read a book or watch tv with. Mary is fine with other cats but because she has a submissive demeanor, dominant or overly playful cats may be too much for her. She is spayed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, current on vaccinations and microchipped - DOB 12/13/13.
