Hi! My name is Kona and I am a 5 year old Black Capped Caique. I am very active and friendly when I get to know you – most caiques are – we are called the clowns of the parrot world, don’t you know? I love to eat my pellets as well as fruits, vegetables, and healthy nuts. Like most parrots, I can be loud when I don’t get my way and will sometimes become very pushy until you give in – so I need a forever home where I will get lots of attention and playtime. I don’t mind being around other birds, just remember that not all birds get along and so you need to be careful and make sure I stay safe from other beaks. I really hope that you might think of me if you are considering adoption and I hope we get to meet very soon.
