My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh goodness, I didn’t see you there! Pardon me, I can be a bit shy. My name is Noah, and I’m a one year old long hair chihuahua-terrier mix. You’ll have to forgive me for being nervous, I’m still recovering from being very neglected. You see, my body score was a 2, which is very low. It take me some time to warm up to folks, as life has not always been kind to me. I still have a bit of body weight to put on before I can be ready for my new adoptive home.

Thanks to my friends at NBS Animal Rescue, they are helping me get healthy, and do a lot of new things. It turns out that other humans and dogs are quite nice to be around! In fact, now I am getting nutritious foods that are helping me gain weight and build a little bit of muscle along the way too. I’m also learning to go potty outside, walk well on a leash, and enjoy the wonderful things in life. My favorite thing is just to be cared about, held and loved. I will need a home that has patience, kindness, kids 12years and up (I’m not mean, it is just a matter of what makes me feel safe), and preferably a home that has a bag of soft treats in the pantry….just thought I would add that in there. : )
