Boris's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Boris's Story...
Boris is a beautiful dark gray DSH neutered male that has Russian Blue resemblances. Please note he is not a pure bred russian blue (for allergy concerns). He has been in foster care for about 12 months and is working on his socialization skills. He is shy, but when he warms up, he enjoys treats and being petted on his head and back. He loves to play and enjoys the company of other cats. Boris started out with a rough life outside, but is learning to trust people. He would do very well in a patient home and preferably with someone that has experience with cats. A quiet home where he could watch birds, nap, and enjoy the company of another cat would be his ideal home. If you are interested in learning more about Boris, contact us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boris, a Waldorf Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
