EDIE's Story...
This is Edie! She is approximately 1.5 years old, Staffordshire mix and looking for her very own furever home! She is very kind and affectionate toward everyone she meets! Edie gets along well with other dogs and cats. At our events, she has been very friendly towards people of all ages! She's always smiling and happy and makes friends wherever she goes. She loves playing with other dogs, but is just as content to cuddle up to a special someone. She might make you laugh with her funny antics but she would also really like to go to school and learn some new tricks and be a well-trained pup! Adoption fee is $150. If you are interested in adopting please send an email to
Like most shelter dogs, may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

EDIE, a Silver Spring Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Silver Spring, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Silver Spring.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Silver Spring already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Silver Spring breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Silver Spring paves the way for another one to be saved.
