Our baby Joker’s life has been no joke!
Joker is a 4-5 year old Wooly Siberian Husky. We’re estimating Joker’s age, the shelter believed him to be 2 years old but we believe he’s a tad older than 2. Joker has had such a horrible life, until now. Joker witnessed a horrible event that rendered his family unconscious and unable to care for him. After a series of events in which Joker was moved around multiple times he found himself in a kill shelter in NC. ((All details will be disclosed to an adopting party.))
The Last Resort had been watching all this unfold and tried to rescue Joker the first time he was in the shelter, well this time we were able to get him to safety and into a foster home who understands the breed and have identified his needs. And he’s nothing like what we’ve been told. We’ve seen nothing but gratitude from this boy. No aggression. Nothing but loyalty! Joker would do best in a home where he can attach himself to a sole owner, particularly a woman.
Here’s what his foster momma says:
Joker here, can I just say I'm loving it at my foster home?! I am not too fond of the dogs here and would really like a home where I can have all the attention. I love people as long as you give me time to introduce myself to you slowly, I'm a huge cuddle bug, & I enjoy my evening walks. I'm housebroken & my foster mom is working on crate training me, it's going well now! Things didn't work out how I would have wanted in my past, but all that matters now is I'm safe & looking for my new happily ever after! I really need a home with no small children & absolutely no cats at all! I also need a secured fenced in backyard & would not do well in an apartment! Please apply to meet the new love of your lives today (ME)!!
