Mocha's Story...
Wow! Wow and more wow, pretty much says it all, when describing this amazing canine. Mocha is an incredibly well-trained beauty who is young (maybe 2-3 years), active, heartworm negative, and eager-to-please. Mocha loves to be outside, walking, hiking, and following the commands of her favorite human companion. And when she's not enjoying the great outdoors, she still likes stay close by her person, ever ready and waiting for the next activity. Mocha sleeps quietly beside her foster parents' bed at night, and of course, she's impeccably housetrained. Mocha recently weighed-in at an impressive 62 pounds and she's every bit as intelligent, as she is beautiful. Mocha is the perfect match an active, forever owner who is interested in reinforcing and even capitalizing on her already great skill in following commands. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mocha, a Baton Rouge Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
