Bandit's Story...
Australian Cattle Dog mix, 1 year old, 42 lbs.

Bandit is an amazing Australian Cattle Dog Mix. He has a short white and black dapple coat, folded ears and a long tail. He was brought in by his owner because they were too old to care for him. We believe he may be hearing impaired but is an excellent dog. At input on 11/14/15, he weighs 42.2 lbs and is 1 about year old. He is neutered, had his rabies vaccination and has been brought up-to-date on his shots. He would make a great family pet or a great companion for a single person.  If you would like to adopt Bandit and provide a good home for him, please email Valley River Humane Society at vras1@frontier.com or call us at 828-837-2304.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandit, a Marble Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Marble, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Marble.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marble already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marble breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marble paves the way for another one to be saved.
