Miriam's Story...
Miriam is a female basset who was found by a local man. She is has recovered from spay surgery and hernia repair. She says, "Hello. My name is Miriam but my Foster Parents call me Mae or Mae-Mae and I really like that. My name should have been Joan because, “Can we talk?” I like to talk to you and be talked to. I also like your hands on me. I like to be where you are. I love my play sand! I like other dogs but would be happy with one as a companion or be the only, center of attention dog. I am a slow eater. I like inside and outside and am good on a leash.. Oh yeah, I also have a cat. I follow her just to hear her hiss at me. It makes me laugh. I like kids, belly rubs and treats for being such a good girl and I come when called. I am petite at 41.3 lbs, 5 years old, have been spayed and have all my shots. I am precious, just look at me!".
