It's finally started snowing this winter in Toronto and while that has some of us grumbling, one of our cats is pretty excited. You see, Wanda had a funny idea that if she dressed up as Frosty the Snowcat, someone might want to adopt her. We told Wanda she is perfect just the way she is, but we're sad that Wanda thinks that's the only way she'll finally be adopted. After searching for a year and half, having put through the ringer, adopted and then returned at no fault of her own with awful matting in her gorgeous fur, Wanda is starting to think her furever home might never be found.

A certified lap-cat, Wanda is as sweet as pie and lives for affection, especially cheek rubs. With her gorgeous fur, she'd give even the most glamorous cats a run for their money. Wanda even likes other cats and would do well in a home with other gentle feline friends. She loves to have her fur brushed, which should be done to ensure she doesn't develop matting again. Wanda is the kind of cat who will let you know when she wants pets, gently placing her paw on you to ask for some cuddles. Because Wanda will sometimes swat when she's had enough of brushing or petting, she would do better in a home without younger children.

. At seven and a half years old, there should be no more waiting to find her perfect home, only anticipation at the day she finally meets her perfect match. A year and a half is too long for a cat as sweet as this to have been waiting, searching, hoping for that special day when she is finally adopted. If you're ready to melt Wanda's heart this cold winter season, please email info@teamcarescue.ca today.
