Frankly, poor Wanda has been through the ringer. Abandoned at a shelter, only to be adopted and returned at absolutely no fault of her own, obviously having been neglected with her beautiful fur painfully matted. It's time for Wanda to meet her furever home, her furever family, or her furever person... but this time, Wanda's going to get the purrfect home that will last, one that will treat this gorgeous cat the way she deserves to be treated, one that will love her and care for her. Frankly, we're tired of these poor cats being put through the ringer. We're tired of neglectful and irresponsible behaviour. And it's time to turn things around for Wanda.

This Hidden Treasure Tuesday, we present to you one of the most special gems of all: Wanda. At seven and a half years old, she has spent the last year and a half of her life looking for her new home. Gentle and calm, this gal has a disposition as sweet as pie. She will let you brush her long, luxurious fur, which should be done to ensure she doesn't develop matts again in her poor fur. Wanda lives for affection, especially cheek rubs. And yes, this lovely gal is a certified lap cat, through and through. When she wants to be pet, she'll gently put her paw on you and look up into your face with her huge, soulful eyes. And guess what? Wanda likes other cats and would do well in a home with gentle, calm feline friends! Because Wanda will sometimes swat when she's had enough of brushing or petting, she would do better in a home without younger children.

No more waiting for Wanda, no more bad endings, or sad days. Wanda needs a furever home fit for a queen, because she's the kindest queen of them all! For Hidden Treasure Tuesday, we're offering a special adoption rate of $50 for featured cats. We can't imagine why this gorgeous, sweet cat continues to be passed by and overlooked, but know that her time is coming, and someday soon, her new owner will see her picture and exclaim, "That's the one, that's my Wanda!" If this is you, please email info@teamcatrescue.ca to fill out an application.
