Meet Tatum! Athletic, intelligent, eager, affectionate, alert! Tatum has something we all wish we had, 100% pure enthusiasm with everything he does, every day! He is full of curiosity and wants so badly to learn and experience the world. We have discovered that Tatum absolutely loves to learn. He is playful, affectionate and VERY well mannered with structure in his life. He CRAVES it. You tell him what you want him to do and he is ready to do it! He knows a lot of commands, enjoys rock climbing, swimming, learning new tricks, running alongside a bike, doing agility and going for car rides. He has gone through loose leash training and is doing pretty fabulous with it! His ideal environment will feel open and have an interest in working with a dog that loves commands. Due to his energy level, he may be too much play for some dogs. Speak dog? Got space? Hike much? Come meet our beautiful and VERY loving energizer bunny... Tatum! Adult only home. Sorry, no kitties. Age 1 year. 65 lb.

About Canine Rehabilitation Center and Sanctuary

About Our Rescue Group...

Canine Rehabilitation Center and Sanctuary (CRCS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to helping dogs of all breeds and ages recover from trauma such as abuse, neglect, long-term confinement, and other special circumstances. Our primary focus is the rescue, recovery and placement of at-risk dogs. We provide refuge and a second chance for dogs needing at new start by offering a recovery program, thorough screening for best home placement for dog and adopter, and behavior help and support for the life of the dog.

Dogs that come into our care are victims of abuse, domestic violence, dog fighting, and laboratory research. We also take in dogs that have suffered from neglect, hoarding and puppy mill cases and dogs that have endured long term confinement or isolation. We are a support for rescues and shelters, taking in dogs that have been waiting for extended periods to find a home, dogs that have been returned multiple times and dogs that are struggling in the shelter environment due to fear and lack of socialization.

CRCS was founded in 2011 and began as a 100% grassroots organization powered by handful of dedicated volunteers. In November of 2013, we moved into our own facility. With 11,200 sq ft of indoor space and over 5 acres of outdoor space, we are currently working on a capitol campaign to purchase the property and transform every inch into a beautiful campus specifically geared towards recovery for our canine friends.
