My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SIDNEY is a 2 month old intact black female Lab who weighs 5 pounds. Holly, a one year old black female, and her pups were owner give ups to one of the shelters we work with. Her previous owner had gotten her from an ex-boyfriend and decided to breed her with a black lab. Once the puppies arrived, she was overwhelmed and decided she couldn't keep them anymore. The puppies were born on October 10th. Sidney is approved for everyone!!! More info soon!!!

They are friendly, active pups who love being picked up and are very good when in your arms getting attention. They have been to the vet: all are healthy; had their first Distemper-Parvo combo; they have been dewormed three times, and they will have heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

The puppies are:
Sidney (150828) Black female
Josie #2 (150829) Black female
Sky (150830) Black female
Ellie (150831) Black female
Rider #2 (150832) Chocolate male
Izzy (150833) Chocolate female
Cody #3 (150834) Black male
Brady #2 (150835) Black male
Meg (150836) Black female

Reminders:
Raising a puppy can be very rewarding but also very demanding pursuit. Puppy adopters need to ensure that the puppy:
- Has a potty/social interaction break every three or four hours until 6 months old to ensure house training success.
- Gets plenty of daily play time and walks.
- Has regular interaction with kids, adults and other dogs to ensure positive socialization.
- We will not place two pups from the same litter together.
- Puppy adoption fee is $325 and there is a spay/neuter deposit of $50 which is refundable when pup is spayed/neutered.
- When adopters visit the puppies before the pups are ready to go home, the adopter must leave a check with the foster for the adoption fee ($350) and spay/neuter deposit ($50) to hold the dog. If the adopters change their mind, we will return the check to them.

A contract with a training addendum & spay/neuter addendum will be completed before a puppy heads home.
- Gets the vaccinations in accordance with the Lab Rescue Puppy Protocol and other care as recommended by their vet.
- Goes to a formal training program when the puppy is six months old in addition to in-home training efforts.
- Is spayed/neutered as required by six months of age (April 10, 2016).

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has between 50 -
80 dogs available for adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an
adoption application. Within a few days of submitting an application you will hear from
an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.

An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a home visit is
required.
