Loki & Chumley's Story...
Hello and we hope you are having a great day! We are two senior special needs pugs who are bff’s and we’ve been together for a long time. Both of us would be lost without the other one to pal around with. I am Chumley and I am 11 and my buddy Loki is 9. We are both house trained and are okay with kids and other dogs. We need a forever home where our humans can pay extra attention to us and be patient. We can get a wee bit high energy once in a while but are mostly calm and snuggly. We love our toy bones and being together all the time. Sort of a matched set. So if you are willing to take us both, we’ll be good to you. Oh and we do need a fence to keep us safe. It is a jungle out there. We are both fully vetted. Please apply at Thanks! Love, Loki and Chumley

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Loki & Chumley, a Grand Rapids Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
