Jackie's Story...
My name is Jackie! I am a Doberman/rottie mix born in January of 2006. I am quite a solid little lady, without they typical Dobie build. I am also rather small for my mix, only about 40lbs. My sister Jen and I were at the BCFFA for a long time, just waiting for our perfect homes. We outgrew the cute puppy stage, and still, no one wanted us. Finally, someone stepped up to take us together when we were 10 months old. We were very happy with our new family, but unfortunately, with the economy the way it is, they could not keep us. I am a great dog who loves kids and gets along well with others. I would love to be adopted with my sister Jen, as we have been together our entire lives, but we can be placed separately as well. I can be tested with cats on request. I am leash trained.
My adoption fee is 300 Please email

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackie, a Manassas Doberman Pinscher/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher/Rottweiler for sale in Manassas, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Manassas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manassas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manassas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher/Rottweiler breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manassas paves the way for another one to be saved.
