Auri, sister to Kote, is a short haired, seven or eight month old tabby. Doe-eyed, sweet and seemingly demure (nicknamed Lady), she tends to be just one short step behind her brother. She is playful, curious and affectionate with him around - but becomes even more ‘herself’ when on her own. She loves the looking out at the world, playing with strings, lasers, cat dancers, her brother Kote and nearly anything else. She makes an adorable trilling sound while bouncing around and has a satisfying purr as she nuzzles your hand when she lays beside you. Auri also has a distinct affection for smells — if you have a clean blanket or a sweaty towel from the gym, you’ll find her on your towel every time.
Both kitties love all sorts of foods (they have a wide palette for wet and dry, all flavors), new age music, sisal posts and cat towers. They would most love a home with windows to look out. They are excellent with new people (they’re both very curious!) and love playing with children. Neither is a lap kitty, but they do prefer to be in the same rooms as people.
