Champ's Story...
Champ is an 8 week old puppy who was bought as a Father's Day present for a Daddy who does not like dogs. After being in the home for a week, it was time for Champ to move on. He came into our rescue, healthy, happy and outgoing. Although he was in a home with lots of kids for only a week, it is apparent that he was NEVER ABUSED, and loves people and other dogs and cats. He is living in a foster home with both. He would make a wonderful companion for your dog. Please fill out our online application at www.downtowndogrescue.org We will contact everyone who fills out an application. Please note that we will only accept applications on this puppy within Los Angeles County area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Champ, a Los Angeles Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
