Franny's Story...
Hello my name is Franny! If you haven't noticed I'm extremely thin...yes I am emaciated since my owners left me behind. The shelter is working on getting my weight back up, but my new owner would have to continue to do so. I'm an extremely sweet girl that is always wanting to please so I would do well in any home. If there are children they will have to understand I really want food so I should be left alone while eating because I try to gobble it all up quickly...I also might try stealing a treat or two. I always aim to please, and I do love attention. Could you give me some in your home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Franny, a South Haven Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in South Haven, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
