Jemma's Story...
"Hi, I’m Jemma and I really am a gem! I am a sweet tempered, delightful girl who loves to cuddle, play, and be close to my family. I love kids and get along with other animals including cats and new friends at the dog park. I am well trained, always come when called, even when out exploring at the off-leash area. I walk really well on a leash; I can shake a paw, sit pretty and have a few other tricks up my sleeve I would love to share with you.
I would fit in to any kind of household as I am loyal and enjoy walks, playtime and curling up at your feet. I travel well in a car and will easily fit into your life and your routine. I am well-socialized, great company and quiet. I love being close to my family and looking deeply into their eyes as I contentedly drift off to sleep.
I have no health issues, am not a picky eater and am just an all round pleasure to have around. I am a border collie American husky cross and am approximately 2 years old. If you apply to adopt me, I promise to fill your life with an abundance of furry cuddles and wet puppy kisses.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jemma, a Saskatoon Husky/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Border Collie for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Husky/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Border Collie breeders who help with Husky/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
