Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SOPHIE is a beautiful, gentle soul. She is a 2 year old angel who lives in a foster home with another dog and 3 cats. Her favorite thing to do is snuggle on the couch. She LOVES love and affection. She is also fabulous at the dog park. Her sweet demeanor makes it possible for her to get along with anyone. She rides well in the car and walks on the leash without pulling. SOPHIE can be shy in new situations, but warms up quickly. Even when she is nervous she is always kind. She is mostly just afraid of sudden loud noises and people waving objects like golf clubs or brooms. Sweet SOPHIE will cower or trot to her crate in these instances. SOPHIE is calm and a joy to be around. She has gone to restaurant patios with her foster mom and minded her manners. She is a fantastic girl who will be a dream come true to her forever family!
SOPHIE is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to the Midwest.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.
