Hey there! It's me, Drak! I'm a handsome guy who LOVES tennis balls and walks! I love even more to flop and show you my belly...I mean, who doesn't love a good belly rub?! I even have great, soft fur that's just begging for some pets! I'm a medium sized dog who walks well on a harness (otherwise I pull because I get so excited to stretch my paws!) I take treats like a dream and peanut butter? Fuggedaboutit. Things get downright goofy when you introduce the PB!
I'm young at just under two years old, so I have a lot of life and love to give. No worries though - after a bit of a walk or some exercise, I'm a pretty chill guy! I get along with adults but no children for me - I'm a bit too active for them! I'm a bit shy, so I MUST have slow and proper introductions to other dogs and absolutely no kitties. They woof funny.
I'm looking for a loving and patient family to allow me adequate time to decompress (I've been in the kennel awhile now so I have to get used to this thing called a "home") and continue teaching me how to be a good boy like other young pups!
9/09/16: I had a great time at Wendy's with a few of the other Muttz. I especially liked meeting new people and hope to get out to more events soon! Stay tuned, the girls tell me they'll do their best to update the events with my RSVP so you know where I'll be. I just know my forever family is out there!
9/24/16: I've had a busy week! Lots of time out of the kennel, including a sleep over at one of the volunteer's home! It was great to stretch my paws and lay on a warm and cozy bed. Then today I was at Bark Ave Pet Supplies in Harleysville where I'm told I was a good boy! Lots of people asked about me and a few expressed interest. I hope some applications come in!
10/16: I've been getting out of the kennel for some fun, but still looking for a home or foster to call my own! One of our great volunteers invites me for sleepovers, but I really wish I could find a cozy home as my furever!
