Cricket-GOOD WITH CATS's Story...
ABOUT CRICKET -- 1 YEAR & GOOD WITH CATS

They call me CRICKET. I'm clearly a cat, sort of calm and quiet .. not known to chirp. I'm young and playful and I do like to climb. A cat tree by a window would be great! I'm also good with other cats, so a friend and playmate would be nice. I am a handsome light gray tabby with gorgeous green eyes. Sweet and snuggly too! A dog who ignores me is fine, and I don't mind a gentle, well-behaved kid or two .. as long as they won't want to pick me up every five minutes. I'm a good guy looking for a good forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cricket-GOOD WITH CATS, a Hillside Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hillside, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Hillside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillside paves the way for another one to be saved.
