Faye's Story...
Hi, I'm Faye! I am a very spunky and super energetic girl who loves to play with my scratching post, wrapping myself all around it. But I still love to be pet and cuddled! I would really love to find a home where I will get lots of attention and cuddle time. Anytime my foster momma pets me, i instantly purr. I also love to sit on the window sill and watch the birdies and lizards go by. My foster momma says I would be great as a single cat, but I could also be with other kitties if given time and slow introduction to get used to them. I hope to meet you soon! Love, Faye

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Faye, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
