My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Lucy and I’m a shorthaired 6-year-old Jack Russell Terrier needing to be rehomed because my owner works very long days and is away a lot. He did the right thing when he agreed to take me into his home after his grandmother, my Mom, passed away, but we both think I might need more attention than the current situation allows. I walk well on a leash, am not aggressive toward other dogs and I love people, including children and strangers. Not so sure about cats, though. I’m an inside dog who needs human companionship and lots of outside exercise (on-leash or within a fence, please) to keep me in good shape and out of mischief. Due to the long hours I’m currently left alone, my house-training skills may need some refreshing. I weigh about 10 lbs., have been spayed, and my vaccines are all up to date.
