Alfredo's Story...
Hi. My name is ALFREDO and I am a one year old gray and white male cat with PERFECT MARKINGS. Not long ago someone found me wandering around outside and figured I was a stray. She took me to the veterinarian to be vaccinated and neutered with the intent of returning me back outside. But a funny thing happened. Everyone who met me fell in love with me. They all said that I was too SWEET and AFFECTIONATE to live my life on the outside and that I deserved to have a warm cozy home of my own. Here are some facts about me: I like to be HELD LIKE A BABY and I like to TALK TO YOU. I’m PLAYFUL and ACTIVE. I GET ALONG WITH OTHER CATS. And I’m a BIG MUSH! If you’re looking for a really great companion cat, then look no further. Cause I’m the one for you. I am neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

To meet me, fill out the CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alfredo, a Long Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
