Facts about Mojave(Mo)

  • Breed: Macaw
  • Color: Green
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
Mo is a sixteen year old Catalina macaw who came to us as an owner surrender. Mo had reached sexual maturity and was getting very aggressive with his owner. When Mo first came to us, he was very aggressive, and we couldn't get anywhere near him without him going after us. We have been working with him for almost a year and he is doing much better now. He is still no the most interactive bird, he can not be held. Mo loves to spend time outside of his cage playing and watching the dogs. Mo loves to talk and always has something to say. His previous owners did teach him some bad works that we are trying to teach him not to say. Mo loves to great you when you enter the house, but will tell you bye bye the whole time you are there. He is an absolutely gorgeous bird. Mo is our pet of the holidays and we have dropped his adoption price to $600.00. Mo will only be available to very experienced bird handlers.

About Fullmer Menagerie Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an animal welfare organization that rescues animals in dire need of assistance from shelters, abandonment, poor living situations, etc.

Fullmer Menagerie Animal Rescue is a not for profit, 501c3, all volunteer, no-kill organization dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned, abused or neglected animals by providing them with shelter, care, and rehabilitation both medically and emotionally. Further, we continuously strive to promote the importance of spaying and neutering. We offer training to help with problem animals as opposed to giving them up for adoption or surrender to a shelter.
