Here's what the humans have to say about me:
He weighs about 6 pounds
Diego is approximately 11 months old. He was hit be a car and taken to a shelter. He was not claimed and the shelter was going to amputate his leg. Maxine heard about him and rescued him. At our vet it was determined his leg could be saved; he had surgery and two pins put in place. He has since recuperated and is ready to be adopted. He still favors his other leg but we think at this point it is more from habit as he is using it more all the times and there does not appear to be any pain. What a fine guy he is. He likes to run and play. Diego gets along with the other dogs at his fosters, he willingly lets the other dogs have their turn at being held. He is a cuddlier, loves to be petted and loved on and when he looks up to you with his beautiful eyes your heart melts. For more information or to make an appointment to see Diego call 352-748-1141. He will also be shown from 10-2 each Saturday at PetSmart in Lady Lake until adopted. He weighs about 6 pounds
