Pip's Story...
Hi my name is Pip, I'm a 4 pound Chihuahua. I was rescued off the kill list from our local shelter. When A Home 4 Spot busted me out of there and my foster mom picked me up, I was so skinny and had an infection. Now I am super healthy and put on a little bit of weight. The shelter said I'm 8 but after I got my teeth cleaned our vet said that I'm six. I am just the sweetest little guy ever. I would do really well with somebody who is home a lot and would like me to cuddle with them because cuddling is my favorite thing to do. I'm not a needy dog, so when you need your space, I'll give you your space, but anytime you want me with you I'm happy to oblige. I've had quite a rough life. My foster mom believes I was abused and neglected. I used to be afraid of men but now I'm good with most of them. I'm also good with other dogs of any size, and cats. So if you have some love left in your heart to give to a little dog like me, I could sure use it. If you're interested in knowing more about me, you can contact my foster mom Chastity at 443-248-4740.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pip, a Las Vegas Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
