My name is Punch!

Domestic Shorthair Cat for adoption in Bellingham, Washington - Punch

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Punch's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Punch's Story...
Punch is an affectionate, chatty boy looking for a loving forever home. He is pretty shy in new situations and you can expect him to find a place to hide when he gets to his new home, but with gentle encouragement and patience, Punch will come out of his shell to rub up against you. Once settled into his new home, Punch will be a lovely companion, constantly rubbing against your legs and begging for pets. Punch would do well in a home with another mellow feline but would rather not live with a dog. Any children should be over 12 and able to be patient and gentle with him while he settles in. If you think this sweetheart would be a good fit for your home, please bring an adoption application to the front desk so you can meet him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Punch, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
