Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Athena is a brown tabby girl with orange accents. She’s small for her age, but 100% kitten. She loves playing with strings and bandanas. Her favorite thing is to hide under the bandanas and attack your hand. She enjoys larger toys and games. She does have Cerebellar Hypoplasia. All that means is her cerebellum is fully developed. The cerebellum controls fine motor skills. She can still eat, drink, and use the litter box like a normal cat, she just wobbles some while she does it. When she focuses on what she is doing she behaves just like a normal cat, but when she gets excited and moving quickly, her back end tends to have a mind of its own. Its adorably special. Due to this, she will need to forever have her claws to help her stabilize. So no declawing is allowed. She doesn’t jump up onto things very much unless they are small distances. When she wants in your lap she will come over and paw at your leg (with no claws). That is her way of saying “hey I’m down here, pick me up”. Athena is very content to sit in your lap and purr herself to sleep while you do whatever it is you need to do. For more information on CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia) visit CHcat.org
