This gorgeous young man is Blue, a 3year old cane corso mastiff that is ready for a great home of his own. Blue had a home, but was surrendered to our Newark facility because his family did not have time for him. He was transferred to us at Popcorn Park where Blue began making friends immediately. He is a real looker, with his blue/brindle coat and big smile, and he definitely gets your attention when you walk by his area and he stands on his hind legs to get you to notice him. Blue is strong and energetic, and just a giant puppy. He just wants to play and have fun but he doesn't know his own strength at times, so Blue will need a home with no children under the age of 12. He has not had much training in his former home and tends to get a bit mouthy when he is playing. Not normally a big deal in the average dog but for a dog Blue's size, this is something that must be corrected and not encouraged. Blue is a very fast learner and a staff member already has him sitting, laying down, and walking very well on a leash in just a short time. He can learn so much more and will be a perfect gentleman with the right family. He likes other dogs just fine and would do best in a home with larger dogs.
