IDGSR WELCOMES DENALI INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Denali is one of those dogs who could easily be misunderstood, Still waters run deep, He is a quiet soul who was even misunderstood by other rescuers and those who think they know dogs, pulled by another rescue who gave him little time to adjust and bond, they returned him to the shelter where he was not doing well.
IDGSR took him into our rescue and have had no problems out of him,
Denali is not just another pretty face, he is a Stunning pretty face, he doesn't know how beautiful he is on the outside and in the heart.
Denali has a new lease on life and now that we know him well and see what a GREAT dog he is because we took time to get to know him.
That did not take long, it took just some patience and TLC, some of us do not like to be rushed into liking someone, some of us don't fall into love at first sight, some of us need quiet to contemplate and put things together in our heads, That is Denali.
Denali's sister was at the shelter too and then adopted, that really upset Denali, the one who he depended on to make him feel that everything would be ok was taken and he was extremely dependent on her and he became depressed and upset.
IDGSR recognizes that Denali will do best in a home with a helper dog that will help him to know that life is good, a nice confident female large breed dog would be ideal for Denali. Would also do best in an adult only home.
We believe Denali is a Shepherd Husky mix, He is X large. He is Gorgeous.
Gets along fine with other dogs, not the huggy kissy type, he takes time to fall in love with his person.
Denali and Bianca love being outside alot, but need to be house dogs too, a fenced yard and covered porch area would also be helpful for these two to have some quality outside time during good weather.

Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY)
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
